My Opinion

As this blog comes to an end, what are we left with? Basically just my opinion on some people who went from sleuthing to slandering. At times that opinion has changed. And even though I got lots of info from articles and people’s emails and comments, it still just boils down to “My Opinion”. Half the stuff people told me, others said just the opposite, so I had to decide what to believe and what not to belive. Some may value my opinion on some of this, some may not, but for what ever reason you came here to read my opinion and I gave it.

Like I said, it changed a little at times, but when I go back and reread what I have written I think most of it holds true to the same basic belief. What is that belief? That several people were involved in some sort of game with the LISK case. That some of them did it to gain some kind of attention in the limelight. Others played back, some with good intentions, some probably not so good. At the core of some of these people is a feeling that they were wronged in life, Joey, by his neighbors who tried to out him and his family from the Oak Beach community, Nancy and Dorothy, by their ex husbands and the legal system, you get the idea. So they used this tragedy to get even and to get noticed.

Again, this is just my opinion after looking into all of you over the past year, just like some of you have looked into me and formed opinions as well. Which is fine, and if anyone cares to hear about your opinions on me, by all means tell them. Hell, write a blog about it. But remember, I wrote this blog because I felt it was wrong for people to use this tragedy for their own agendas and games, and I think most who read here would agree with that.

I have said over and over that it was not my intention to sleuth the case, but my opinions on the case can still be seen throughout this blog. Again though, just opinions. I’m not LE. I do not have the info that they have. I don’t even have the info most of you have.

Still I did not just jump in line with anything anyone was throwing out there or trying to lead me to along the way. I just kept reading and well, writing. This made some of you not like me to much at certain times (like if I didn’t agree with the proper agenda) and other times I was a hero! Truth is I was just giving my opinion on what I witnessed. On what I read. On what I saw. On what I thought.

I wish I could just post every email correspondence I have with everyone, it would then be a lot easier to not only understand my opinion, but maybe see how I came to some of it. But that just isn’t possible. I understand why some would not want me to post their emails or bring their names into this. Some are just LISK.com readers… others, well you know who you are and what we have talked about and most of you have told me  a lot of my opinions are spot on. Would I love to post those emails? Of course I would, and since some of you love saying I put all my emails up on the blog, I sometimes think I should.

Don’t get nervous, I’m not doing it. But again, those I have talked to know what we have talked about.

There is still plenty of other things I can post here, to show why I have the opinions I do about all of this. Some of this stuff you may have already seen or read, most of it was given to me by one of you, the readers and the subjects of this blog. Pretty much the same demographics, right?

Let’s start with the newest link I was given. It’s the YouTube interviews with Richard Dormer. There are quite a few of them but I think they are worth watching. For those who strongly criticized LE as either dropping the ball on this case or covering things up, this may help show, as I believe, that LE is and has always taken this case very seriously and there for have looked into every lead and everyone possibly connected to this case. Or it may not change your view at all, but I still recommend watching all of them:

I just watched these yesterday, and there is stuff in here I wouldn’t mind discussing, pros and cons, so if anyone else who has watched them feels the same, let me know in the comments.

Of course most of what I wrote about took place on Longislandserialkiller.com. Here’s a couple threads to start with, but you can look around to see what you can find there. Since the site is down I could not find every post, but a lot is still there:

Here’s some things to watch and read if you have not yet:

And then there are the things I was sent or found because of leading comments on my blogs, I think most who read here understand how some of these screen names involved in this over the years love to post stuff to lead you places. Is any of it connected? Maybe. But again I’m sure LE looks into any connections brought up at this point. So I’m not about to make guesses on things I could not possibly know. Sorry if this list of links is long or mixed up. I have a lot of these and I’m not gonna post links to all of them, but here’s a taste:

There is actually a lot more, but I think we’ll stop there. The last three links are suicides that I know some find questionable or possibly linked to the Gilgo Beach Murders. Again I have no information on things like this and can only read them and wonder myself.

Same goes for possible connection to other places like Atlantic City, Florida or New Mexico. Florida pops up again and again in things I have read. Some I have mentioned in this blog. Victims in the LISK case, bloggers, writers, POIs, etc. There are quite a few linked to all of this who live or have lived in Florida, but I have found nothing that actually connects Florida in any way but coincidence. But who knows? Until truth is known and the case is solved all possibilities are just that, possibilities. Another possibilty is a conection to the Atlantic City Murders. I didn’t know anything about the Atlantic City Murders tell I read about the Facebook pages that were made and seemed to connect them to the Gilgo Beach victims. Since then I have read quite a bit about the murders in Atlantic City, and until both cases are solved I guess it will continue to be, as many believe, possibly connected.

There is so much out there so of course people will have opinions about what is connected and what isn’t.  I get that. We all get that, right? But what got me blogging my opinions, was that some people out there claimed to be working on more than opinion. Those of you who claim to know things, who write as if they are the victims and the heroes all in one, here is my final opinion for you. Your so-called knowledge should be questioned by everyone. The real connections are between those who passed around misinformation and played games with other people’s tragedies. And I think you know who those people are, in my opinion.

Lost Girls

As I wrote on my Zero’s World Blog: http://zerodinh.wordpress.com/2014/01/31/fake/

Last week I was taking some time off the internet and my blogs watching some TV, and an episode of 20/20 came on where one of the segments was about a man named Raymond Roth got me thinking about the LISK case (let’s face it though, now a days it is never far from the front of my mind). I decided I have spent so much time looking at the games and agendas that I needed to take another look at the case itself. I mean that was the reason I went looking for more info in the first place and led me to LISK.com and Catching LISK. I was interested in the case. I had the book “Lost Girls” by Robert Kolker, and decided it was way past the time I read it.

First I want to say that I enjoyed the book and the way it was written. I highly recommend it to anyone who has not read it yet. Before I started my blog I had known a little about the case, during the writing of this blog I learned a lot more, but after reading Lost Girls I feel I have a much more detailed understanding of everything surrounding this case.

Once I had started this blog, I had focused my attention on the people behind the screen names, Joey, Cristin, Jen, and Dorothy and some others, I tried not to get to deep into the actual case, so again although I knew a lot, reading the book showed me much more into the tragic lives of Maureen Brainard-Barnes, Melissa Barthelemy, Megan Waterman, Amber Lynn Costello, and Shannan Gilbert. I learned more about their hardships, about their hopes and dreams, about the people around them, and the circumstances that led up to their disappearances. I have few things I would like to say about these 5 girls who were taken from their friends and families in such a devastating way, but I will save that for my final post. I will say this before moving on, Robert Kolker writes about the blame that seems to be passed around, the victims for their choice in professions, their families for not being able to stop them, their pimps and boyfriends for using them,  sites like Craigslist for allowing sex for sale type ads, LE for not reacting sooner, and on and on. As I belive the book points out, even laying the blame where it rightfully belongs, with the killer or killers, it does not ease the pain of family members, it does not help LE solve the case, and it does not make anyone feel any safer.  Laying blame to a senseless tragedy does not make it any less senseless.

The book also talked a little about what I called games and agendas in this blog mostly under the section titled “Conspiracy”. Here we learn about Joey being Flukeyou and how he believes so deeply in his neighbor being a killer that he can’t talk about anything else. We hear about Truthspider and how his sleuthing of the Doctor led him to believe he was a serial killer responsible for all of the bodies found on the shores of Long Island.  Though both have lots of reasons why they say the Doctor is guilty, most of it is nothing more than, “I think it could have happened this way”. I mean Joey has all sorts of ideas of how the bodies were stored and removed without being seen etc. But all this proves is that Joey has a good idea how it could have been done, no proof that the Doc did any of the things Joey talks about in the book.  Truthspider has a little more substance in his theories, like the book The Last Happy Hour by Charles J. Hackett. I remember when I first read about this on Catching LISK, I was floored! I mean here is a book by Dr. Hackett’s father where it describes taking his young son with him on trips to Atlantic City and had explained to his son about the  inability to convert “whores”. I haven’t read the book, but when I looked it up on Amazon I read a very good review on it. And now as I looked back for that review I realized that the review was by none other than Truthspider himself. LOL, funny how I missed that, but this was early on, before I even started blogging so I didn’t know about Truthspider and would have had no reason to recognize the name of the review author. But if you click on the book title above it will take you take you to the amazon site where you can read Mr. Murphy’s review of the book. I remember when I first read the review (not knowing it was by Truthspider) and also reading about how Mysterymom7 thought she was being stalked for her own beliefs that the Doc and I was like wow, this guy is a serial killer. Of course now I know there was agendas at work. Still I believe this book by the Doctor’s father is very peculiar and if more substantial evidence would surface on the doctor, the book might mean something. But so far that hasn’t seemed to happen. As Lost Girls points out, the conspiracies can be seen everywhere but when looking for substance none is found, and most of the echos of proof come back to Joey and his die-hard belief that his neighbors must be hiding something. Not much more than that. The thing I learned the most from the section titled “Conspiracy” was just how important my blog may be to others out there who read about this case and this book. Because the section titled ‘Conspiracy” stops short right where the real conspiracies begin. The book talks about Joey being Flukeyou and Brendan being Truthspider and how they took to the internet to try to prove their beliefs that the Doc was guilty, but it doesn’t go into the fact that they might have been working together at least at some point. Or how some wrote that Joey and Brendan might have known each other for a while. Or how a housewife from Florida would take both Joey’s and Brendan’s ideas and decide The Doctor was in deed guilty of killing many women over the years and not only post her theories claiming that she was 98% and sometimes 99% sure her theories were right, not only did she contact Mari’s lawyer with all this proof she said she was able to gather on the internet, but she created a blog where she claimed Dr. Hackett was now stalking her to try to keep her quiet. Of course my blog (with the help of many other’s who spoke with me and cleared many things up) showed that Joey used this blog to further his agenda as well. Lost Girls end its story right before any of this part of the conspiracy started. It ends once all the bodies were found and that is when the internet games really got going. And since Longislandserialkiller.com and Catching LISK are both gone, my blog seems to be the only place to see how the conspiracy continued. Why is that important? I feel there are many reasons, not gonna go into them all because I have already defended this blog way to many times. But I’ll give what I feel is the main one.

In the book Lost Girls it discusses Joey and his theories. It mentions that he was right all along where Shannan would be found, but without my blog you might not be able to see ALL the things Joey wrote under the screen name Flukeyou. Like how he accused many of his neighbors of being at a party at Brewers house the night Shannan disappeared. This led to the now infamous fake “Fieldnotes Interview” and equal fake “Brewer Part Guest List”.  Didn’t Joey actually write that some of these neighbors accepted sexual favors from Shannan that night? Flukeyou/Joey wrote all sorts of things, most I think can be proven wrong. So it is my belief that everything written by Joey on Lisk.com and catching LISK and all the things he is telling people, needs to be looked at, which parts can be proven wrong, which parts are right, and which parts are impossible to be proven or he has no way of possibly knowing. In these 3 things a pattern might develop. The parts that can be proven wrong should be able to shine some light on a few things. And once that is done, the parts that are in the impossible of proving or him having no way of knowing suddenly popped into the proven right possibilities should speak volumes.

For those who don’t follow me let me end this post with a very crystal clear example.

Timeline helps me the most with understanding some of this. Knowing when somethings hit the media or when other things were found can shine a lot on some of the comments and posts I read. Some of them correspond in a way that explains the comment better, or at least the timing of it. Others only make you wonder. Like in the comments Flukeyou left on LISK.com  in August of 2011, about how things could be found or were already found in neighbors back house. Remember this is months before Shannan’s belongings are found. This comment alone suggest something was already found long before any reports of items being found:

flukeyou

How does Joey know the things he knows? Is he just making up so many things, that some of them are bound to be right? Or does he use things he knows and mixes them with things that are lies to frame his neighbors? Look through my blog, read for yourself all the things that Joey has written under the screen name Flukeyou (and a few others). See the different games he was wrapped up in. See the people who are connected to his agenda but weren’t mentioned in Lost Girls (although I think Dorothy actually did get a mention at the bottom of page 226)  Maybe you’ll see what others have come to see after years of his meddling in this case. That there is reason to take a closer look at Joey Scalice Jr aka Flukeyou.

Looking Back

I started reading back over this blog in preparation for my final posts here. The blog itself is separated in three parts. The first part I was really trying to just figure out all the screen names and real names. In March of 2013 in one of my first posts I discussed trolls and sock-puppets:

So, they are close to the same thing, the general difference being, the reason they do it.  A sock puppet has motives behind what they do, while trolls just like to mess with people. At least that’s how I read it.

And to me I see reason to believe both were/are going on here. The hard part is deciphering between the 2. One or more of these posters are very good at what they do. It is almost impossible to know who is who. There are some ways, which we will later discus, to connect them however.  But now that sites and posts are disappearing it is a little harder to do.  It’s a Riddle Wrapped In A Mystery Inside An Enigma.  Shall we get started?

And for some of the name game, it is still a puzzle to me. But I now think less troll activity was involved than I originally thought. At least not just random trollness. All the many screen names aside, the many “real” names thrown out in comments and posts were sometimes just as confusing to me. As I tried to explain in a post in April of 2013:

So what I’m getting at is, even though all these names have been “leaked”, I have no proof that any of these names are real or at least really anyone involved in these posts.

So I will use them when needed, after all they have already been thrown out there, and not by me. But I am not trying to endanger anyone or use names of people who have nothing to do with this, so feel free to ask me to remove anything that you might feel is fraudulent or personal info of yourself that you do not want out there.

I was trying to figure out who everyone was that was being thrown out there, but a lot of times they were just names to me, I had no idea who they really were.

The second part of the blog comes after I have a little better understanding of who is who and focused mainly on trying to figure out game and agenda. In May of 2013 I wrote:

So I’m often asked why I blog about these different screen names and people I know nothing about. And I have answered this many times, but to truly simplify the answer, I’m looking for some kind of conclusion. I know that may not come, but I’ll be here bugging everyone till it does. (don’t quote me on that)

And for the most part at that time I continued to blog about this because I was just looking for some sort of end to the story. The thing that would bring the who’s, what’s, and why’s together. During this time I realized some of this had been going on for a long time and that the game part of this was somewhat connected to the actual LISK case. Flukeyou really was Joey, and he really was a neighbor or Dr. Hackett. That other locals were also behind some of the screen names and that an Oak Beach neighbor dispute not only played out in the comments of LISK.com but had been going on for years and now seemed to have found its way into the LISK case. That many of those involved in the games and agendas had centered themselves right into the actual case. Joey, Dorothy, Jen, Cristin, and quite a few others had spoken to Mari and/or her lawyer as well as others in the LISK case. These games and agendas were not just some internet posts. I realized much more of what was happening was in emails and phone calls, the posts and comments were only a show most of the time. The more people who started commenting on my blog led me to contact with some of these commenters. This second part concludes when I realize that all though I could see there were games being played, and although I could see who some of the players were. I was not going to be able to prove it to any one but myself. No one was coming clean on their own, though Jen and Cristin did help a lot with what they did come out with. Joey and Dorothy have never stopped playing game once on these sites and blogs. And still so many screen names unclaimed. But I felt it was as far as it could go at that point.

During this second part of the blog and while the blog was on pause for a few months, I did continue to share emails with people. Made some contacts on Facebook. Someone told me about the “way back machine” and how it could be used to read old LISK.com posts. The more I knew about people, the real people in this with no agendas other than wanting the truth to come out and some of the games and agendas to be exposed for what they were. The more I read old LISK.com stuff. the more I felt the blog was incomplete. LISK.com and Catching LISK were both gone by this time but I still felt something could be learned by looking closer at both these sites and the people who created them as well as the one person who dominated both places with their agenda, Flukeyou. And that is what I did on the third part of this blog. I dug in deep to the early LISK.com stuff. Spoke with quite a few of the earlier commenters there. Understanding LISK.com, its creator, and what went on there was not quite the big mystery. Most of the people who were part of it had already gone through the whole who is who game, and many knew who each of the others were. So getting behind any LISK.com mysteries went rather quickly once I started in this third time. Leaving me mainly just 2 questions about it, who was PS149 who posted at LISK.com in it’s final days and why did Flukeyou use the site to sensationalize what ever suspicions he had about his doctor neighbor? We may never learn who that PS149 was. And it is probably more important to understand why Fluke did what he did.

And as we all know Fluke continues the accusations of conspiracy and coverup on MM7’s blog “Catching LISK”. It was a little harder to blog about what went on there because I had to go from memory and the few things I had saved from it. But then MM7 sent me access to her blog. I was shocked and even told her I couldn’t understand why she would have sent it to me. But I was glad she did. I was able to continue the blog showing how Flukeyou continued his agenda on Catching LISK.  Of course “Catching LISK” is a lot more difficult to figure out even with the whole blog in front of you. Part is due to commenters like NERD who take the blog for a wild ride and part is due to MM7’s claims of being stalked at least one of these commenters. In this third part of my blog I learned quite a bit more about the creators of the 2 sites I blogged about. I understood more of why these sites were made and why they were taken down. It seemed that this third part to the blog (the final part?) too must come to an end. And that is what I am attempting to now do. But as I look back over my blog and choose my final word for the final posts I feel I must once again say that I stand by this blog and the journey it describes. And I once again ask, that if you are going to judge this blog, please read it in its entirety, see my growth and understanding with each post. Remember this is from an outsiders view with no inside information or knowledge about anything. A lot of the time I am playing catch up with most of you that read and comment here, so you can see my blog through your own eyes and understanding of what went on here (here being my blog and the blogs and sites I wrote about). By reading the entire blog I think you can see clearer the conclusions I came to about LISK.com, Catching LISK, and all those who participated in them. Are they the right ones? You tell me.

I also ask that you bare with me for just a few more posts, and please be patient, I want to be as clear as possible in wrapping this blog up.

Joey’s Comments

Although Cristin didn’t let through many comments from those who spoke against what she blogged or had information that went against the Joey Agenda, she let him put his twisted stuff up every time. Although Cristin complained that those who posted some questionable stuff in her blogs comments must be a serial killer and stalking her, she let Joey’s comments that used the same tactics and were just as obscene, in her logic why didn’t she see Joey as a serial killer and quite possibly her stalker? Here are some of Joey’s first comments on MM7’s blog:

LISK Fluke mm72LISK Fluke mm73

Joey Agenda! Cristin had no problem letting Flukeyou continue the game on her blog. Including using sock puppets with real people’s names. People Cristin knew nothing about, but that didn’t matter to her:

LISK joey mm71LISK Joey mm72

Why was it alright for Joey to use fake screen names, post info on his neighbors, and say some really disturbing thing? And yet when others did these things they were stalkers and killers. Why? Cristin not only let comments like these through,  but she felt no need to let others reading your blog that they come from Joey. Read these next comments by him and hopefully you might see your beloved Joey in a new light:

LISK Joey mm73

If Joey can use fake screen names to write some messed up stuff, why don’t you believe he could have written some of the other messed up stuff? I’m beginning to understand why you don’t like me, I’m like “kryptonite to a hypocrite”.

Hey Joey, you still reading? I hope so ’cause I wanna share what I find as the most pitiful comment you wrote:

LISK Joey mm74

You actually use the Doc’s wife as a sock puppet screen name to praise you own mom. Now that’s f*cked up! Maybe you need some more time on the couch…

The 69 IP

So I guess we will be moving on to Mysterymom7’s blog “Catching LISK”.  But before we do, we need to talk about the “69 IP”.  There are 582 comments on Cristin’s blog all coming from this one IP. They used screen names from Flukeyou to C Peter Hackett. And who ever it is loved to keep MM7 guessing. Although they do use PS149 as some of their screen names, I do not believe it to be the PS149 from websleuth or LISK.com. They wrote on my blog as a few different screen names as well, but mainly as Nerd. Since this is the name they used mostly on my blog, I will use it when talking about them. MM7 believed this to be PS149 and she believed PS149 to be CPH as well as her stalker. But the comments that went too far, the ones that mentioned gutting children did not come from this IP address. MM7 still believed them to be the same person though. I’m not so sure. Those comments were ment to shock, Nerd’s comments were straight game. I mean 582 comments all twisting MM7s beliefs with each one.

On my blog they didn’t comment as much, only 31, but they are just as gamey on my blog as they were on MM7’s. The first comment they left on my blog was:

LISK 69 nerd

The email is a fake. Too bad because I had sent them email to this account hoping to talk to them, but it erred. They used other emails, but I doubt any of them are real. If you are still reading Nerd, send me an email.

Now their first comment on MM7’s blog got the game up and going quickly. But here it was a lot more harder to detect who was behind what then it was on LISK.com. This is partly MM7’s fault for buying into the stalking thing, but Nerd got the ball rolling:

LISK 69 IP CPH

Since MM7 could see the IP addresses, she should have seen right away that this person was playing her. Here are a few of the first comments left by this master game player:

LISK 69 TSLISK 69 FlukeLISK 69 EP

They even posted as MM7 a few times:

LISK 69 MM7

MM7 should have been able to see right away that someone was playing around and confusing the situation. They go back and forth not only from screen names but also in telling MM7 she is crazy in one comment, to telling her she was on the right track in the next.

But MM7 had others in her ear as well. So she believed she must be on to something if someone is trying to shut her up so bad. Something I think she still believes. But it seems obvious (especially now) that it was all just part of the game.

Nerd if you are out there, let’s talk, but no games, don’t try to tell me you are not all these screen names or that I don’t get Ip address. That game is over, I just want to know why you hit this blog and MM7 so hard. Was it just because you didn’t like what she was doing? Did Jen or someone come to you as they did to me? Or we can just go on believing Cristin that you are CPH or PS149 and trying to silence MM7’s blog because she was on to something. Cut the game for a minute and help me understand you better.

I have much more to say about Nerd but really want to hear from them first.

And just in case someone (like Jen) still thinks I’m wrong about IP address and that these are different people posting on the blogs I give you this:

LISK 69 Fluke nerd

If you look at Flukeyou’s email here you will notice it is the same as they used in the Nerd comments, just forgot to change it before posting.

So Nerd, why so many comments? You more than anyone followed MM7’s blog to an almost obsession, so you must have good reasons.

Ok… Junior is not playing games, Jen is not playing games, Cristin is not playing games. All of you played games together, we just have to go to another blog to prove this. And I will right now.

LISK mm7 blog JS2LISK MM7 blog Jen2

These are both from MM7’s blog Catching LISK. Most of us already knew Flukeyou was posting there as Barbara H. but it wasn’t till recently that Cristin came clean with this. Take a look at his post. Called Cristin a bitch, guess that’s ok during game play. How is this not game? And how is it not believing Joey’s ideas, these are his ideas and you (Cristin) let him post them time and time again on your blog, knowing full well it was him.

Now the second one you might not know is Jen (although I’m sure she’ll deny it, just don’t know where since she is no longer emailing me and won’t comment here either.) And if this comment left by BablonBabyDoll isn’t a clear case of sock puppetry then maybe I need to show more. Pretending to be an outsider and not know who MM7 is. Wow Jen, no wonder you kept not believing me to be an outsider, you knew first hand some of you were pretending to be an outsider to keep the game going.

Join the side of truth, be humble and admit to what you all did wrong, but help us clear it up so we know if it has any thing to do with Shannan’s death. Other wise you will continue to look shady. That’s to all of you.
