Lost Girls

As I wrote on my Zero’s World Blog: http://zerodinh.wordpress.com/2014/01/31/fake/

Last week I was taking some time off the internet and my blogs watching some TV, and an episode of 20/20 came on where one of the segments was about a man named Raymond Roth got me thinking about the LISK case (let’s face it though, now a days it is never far from the front of my mind). I decided I have spent so much time looking at the games and agendas that I needed to take another look at the case itself. I mean that was the reason I went looking for more info in the first place and led me to LISK.com and Catching LISK. I was interested in the case. I had the book “Lost Girls” by Robert Kolker, and decided it was way past the time I read it.

First I want to say that I enjoyed the book and the way it was written. I highly recommend it to anyone who has not read it yet. Before I started my blog I had known a little about the case, during the writing of this blog I learned a lot more, but after reading Lost Girls I feel I have a much more detailed understanding of everything surrounding this case.

Once I had started this blog, I had focused my attention on the people behind the screen names, Joey, Cristin, Jen, and Dorothy and some others, I tried not to get to deep into the actual case, so again although I knew a lot, reading the book showed me much more into the tragic lives of Maureen Brainard-Barnes, Melissa Barthelemy, Megan Waterman, Amber Lynn Costello, and Shannan Gilbert. I learned more about their hardships, about their hopes and dreams, about the people around them, and the circumstances that led up to their disappearances. I have few things I would like to say about these 5 girls who were taken from their friends and families in such a devastating way, but I will save that for my final post. I will say this before moving on, Robert Kolker writes about the blame that seems to be passed around, the victims for their choice in professions, their families for not being able to stop them, their pimps and boyfriends for using them,  sites like Craigslist for allowing sex for sale type ads, LE for not reacting sooner, and on and on. As I belive the book points out, even laying the blame where it rightfully belongs, with the killer or killers, it does not ease the pain of family members, it does not help LE solve the case, and it does not make anyone feel any safer.  Laying blame to a senseless tragedy does not make it any less senseless.

The book also talked a little about what I called games and agendas in this blog mostly under the section titled “Conspiracy”. Here we learn about Joey being Flukeyou and how he believes so deeply in his neighbor being a killer that he can’t talk about anything else. We hear about Truthspider and how his sleuthing of the Doctor led him to believe he was a serial killer responsible for all of the bodies found on the shores of Long Island.  Though both have lots of reasons why they say the Doctor is guilty, most of it is nothing more than, “I think it could have happened this way”. I mean Joey has all sorts of ideas of how the bodies were stored and removed without being seen etc. But all this proves is that Joey has a good idea how it could have been done, no proof that the Doc did any of the things Joey talks about in the book.  Truthspider has a little more substance in his theories, like the book The Last Happy Hour by Charles J. Hackett. I remember when I first read about this on Catching LISK, I was floored! I mean here is a book by Dr. Hackett’s father where it describes taking his young son with him on trips to Atlantic City and had explained to his son about the  inability to convert “whores”. I haven’t read the book, but when I looked it up on Amazon I read a very good review on it. And now as I looked back for that review I realized that the review was by none other than Truthspider himself. LOL, funny how I missed that, but this was early on, before I even started blogging so I didn’t know about Truthspider and would have had no reason to recognize the name of the review author. But if you click on the book title above it will take you take you to the amazon site where you can read Mr. Murphy’s review of the book. I remember when I first read the review (not knowing it was by Truthspider) and also reading about how Mysterymom7 thought she was being stalked for her own beliefs that the Doc and I was like wow, this guy is a serial killer. Of course now I know there was agendas at work. Still I believe this book by the Doctor’s father is very peculiar and if more substantial evidence would surface on the doctor, the book might mean something. But so far that hasn’t seemed to happen. As Lost Girls points out, the conspiracies can be seen everywhere but when looking for substance none is found, and most of the echos of proof come back to Joey and his die-hard belief that his neighbors must be hiding something. Not much more than that. The thing I learned the most from the section titled “Conspiracy” was just how important my blog may be to others out there who read about this case and this book. Because the section titled ‘Conspiracy” stops short right where the real conspiracies begin. The book talks about Joey being Flukeyou and Brendan being Truthspider and how they took to the internet to try to prove their beliefs that the Doc was guilty, but it doesn’t go into the fact that they might have been working together at least at some point. Or how some wrote that Joey and Brendan might have known each other for a while. Or how a housewife from Florida would take both Joey’s and Brendan’s ideas and decide The Doctor was in deed guilty of killing many women over the years and not only post her theories claiming that she was 98% and sometimes 99% sure her theories were right, not only did she contact Mari’s lawyer with all this proof she said she was able to gather on the internet, but she created a blog where she claimed Dr. Hackett was now stalking her to try to keep her quiet. Of course my blog (with the help of many other’s who spoke with me and cleared many things up) showed that Joey used this blog to further his agenda as well. Lost Girls end its story right before any of this part of the conspiracy started. It ends once all the bodies were found and that is when the internet games really got going. And since Longislandserialkiller.com and Catching LISK are both gone, my blog seems to be the only place to see how the conspiracy continued. Why is that important? I feel there are many reasons, not gonna go into them all because I have already defended this blog way to many times. But I’ll give what I feel is the main one.

In the book Lost Girls it discusses Joey and his theories. It mentions that he was right all along where Shannan would be found, but without my blog you might not be able to see ALL the things Joey wrote under the screen name Flukeyou. Like how he accused many of his neighbors of being at a party at Brewers house the night Shannan disappeared. This led to the now infamous fake “Fieldnotes Interview” and equal fake “Brewer Part Guest List”.  Didn’t Joey actually write that some of these neighbors accepted sexual favors from Shannan that night? Flukeyou/Joey wrote all sorts of things, most I think can be proven wrong. So it is my belief that everything written by Joey on Lisk.com and catching LISK and all the things he is telling people, needs to be looked at, which parts can be proven wrong, which parts are right, and which parts are impossible to be proven or he has no way of possibly knowing. In these 3 things a pattern might develop. The parts that can be proven wrong should be able to shine some light on a few things. And once that is done, the parts that are in the impossible of proving or him having no way of knowing suddenly popped into the proven right possibilities should speak volumes.

For those who don’t follow me let me end this post with a very crystal clear example.

Timeline helps me the most with understanding some of this. Knowing when somethings hit the media or when other things were found can shine a lot on some of the comments and posts I read. Some of them correspond in a way that explains the comment better, or at least the timing of it. Others only make you wonder. Like in the comments Flukeyou left on LISK.com  in August of 2011, about how things could be found or were already found in neighbors back house. Remember this is months before Shannan’s belongings are found. This comment alone suggest something was already found long before any reports of items being found:

flukeyou

How does Joey know the things he knows? Is he just making up so many things, that some of them are bound to be right? Or does he use things he knows and mixes them with things that are lies to frame his neighbors? Look through my blog, read for yourself all the things that Joey has written under the screen name Flukeyou (and a few others). See the different games he was wrapped up in. See the people who are connected to his agenda but weren’t mentioned in Lost Girls (although I think Dorothy actually did get a mention at the bottom of page 226)  Maybe you’ll see what others have come to see after years of his meddling in this case. That there is reason to take a closer look at Joey Scalice Jr aka Flukeyou.

Where Do We Go From Here?

So I have read my fill at old LISK.com and reread some of the stuff from when I first got there earlier this year. I get it. Flukeyou pulled some people in and they shared screen names and misinformation. Remember early on we have Fieldnotes and Truthspider as well. The tree starts there, well somewhere Jen and Susie are there as well. (Remember Susie) All of these connect to Mari, some have met her and are helping her others are from Facebook and wanting to help. Who was there to actually help and who was there for other reasons I do not know for sure, but hindsight sure does help us see a few things.  I realize the fact that the phone call that was made to Mari from the doctor and his denial of it  plays a key role in all of this early on. And so does 48 hours, where a lot of us got the same story about the doctor. Before I ever came to LISK.com I was like who is this doctor and what does he know? And with LISK.com here is Fluke to put a personal touch on all the questions people had about the doc. And he had fake screen names and maybe a few of the already mentioned names to help spread his knowledge of the Doc and many other neighbors. And early on we have people, neighbors of Fluke and the Doc maybe, but definitely people with reason to doubt Flukes stories. And they start in trying to defluke him and also maybe figure out why he is saying some of the things he is. So here we have 2 sides of at least a few people using the sites lack of screen name security and a game begins.

Then there are the other readers here, having to figure out who is who and what their agenda is. Some of them pick sides. But the game gets really out there and many leave for different reasons. But the core remains, and when MM7 get’s  involved it really gets crazy. (I’m not sure how long DPH was involved or who put who in touch, but she was in there somewhere “helping”)

So MM7 has her reasons to think it’s the Doc long before her involvement with anyone I have mentioned above. So did I, as I mentioned above.

But watching 48 hours and reading news stories had quite a few people looking suspicious. The john, the driver, the doctor. Yes some suspicious people, how could they all be cleared? I, like many thought these things when we saw or read what was being said about this case. But after her getting involved with Flukeyou and working the case with Jen and Dorothy she knew 99.9% the doc was the killer, and because of that he was stalking her.

All very dramatic, but also very suspicious.

Some of the  gamers splinter, some question other’s motives. A lot of it comes to a head due to Joey not telling Cristin about his new baby? But this is just part of the onslaught of things  now being posted in the dying days of LISK.com.

The addition of PS149 on LISK.com helped speed this up, but Too Close had been there from the beginning trying to keep the madness Fluke and company were creating from spreading. And others like Linda were sick of the constant accusing of anyone who disagreed or found their connections questionable. My blog also came around, one more place for the show to continue. Most people just wanted the game to stop and the case to be brought back to being about the victims, the real ones not those who were victims of themselves. And I am still one of these people by the way.

There is also Websleuth, which because of my email address I can’t get an account there, I heard all the changes came there and made it much harder to become a member specifically because of  involvement of those I have mentioned above.

So back n forth it goes and it continues because the Doc is suspicious. It continues because Joey is just as suspicious. It continues because Dorothy is being used or is quite the wakko. (maybe both) It continues because Jen is either scared or sneaky. (I just can’t figure you out Jen) It continues because Cristin is either scared, played, or quite diabolical. (just my opinion, still not for sure which one applies, maybe a combo of all three)

It continues because none of the information, Joey, Cristin, Dorothy, Jen, or anyone else that was part of the games ever proved anything to anyone. It continues because you all connected and Mari at least must think one of you is hiding something or knows something, I will not speak for her, but if I was her I would be questioning all of you.

This is what I know and I doubt anyone will change my thoughts on any of this. There is still much I don’t know. There is still all the crazy screen names which is a lot more difficult to understand. And I know what I have wrote is just a general idea of what went on. I mean there is a lot more to Fieldnotes involvement in all this and when he tried to back away from it he became a child molester and a LISK suspect, so getting his side of this would be helpful, but it’s understandable why he doesn’t want any part of this any more. I don’t know much about the original Truthspider, Brenden right? Is he still involved in this somewhere? I remember cryptic posts about lifeguards and Fluke and Spider being friends.  Still so much cryptic stuff out there, which is startling when you put it up against the ongoing case and the cryptic parts of it.

Was an Oak Beach resident involved in any of murders? If so was it someone posting on LISK.com? We won’t know these answers till the case is solved. But Joey sure convinced a few people that there is something to doc putting himself into the middle of the case, unfortunately or maybe fortunately doing so also put him questionably “in the middle of the case”.

But where do I go from here with this blog?

I will post the remaining 200+ comments for those interested in reading the rest of them, though other then some virus talk, it’s a lot of the same thing. There are a few other posts with comments that I might put up here, again for those interested in reading them.

But really from here the only place to go is to continue focusing on those I know were involved here and I believe could be a little more light shedding if they wanted to be. We know who they all are, I can’t keep going over and over the things they want to keep circling around, I need to help push forward.

So let’s all enjoy our Thanksgiving and then I’ll focus in on Joey and his gang.

The Problems With Writing This Blog

The 3 main problems with writing this blog were always:

#1. This is a real ongoing unsolved case, which means there are family and friends of the victims that are still hoping and looking for answers and don’t need more people who do not have them putting their 2 cents in. This also means LE are still actively looking into this and related cases and also don’t need more Google Detectives mucking up investigations and wasting time. I’ve done my best to treat this as the most important part of this blog, not getting into the case, but it has not been easy.

#2. Those who post comments with questionable TMI. With so many comments including things about people (some of which I am not even sure these people exist. For example I don’t know Dorothy’s Husband’s ex-wife. How could I know if such a person is real.) So what to allow in comments is hard, I have quite a bit I took off or didn’t allow.

#3 How fast everything changes. If you read this from the beginning, you know that many blogs changed or were removed, ideas for blogs changed long before I could finish them or in some cases even start them. When I first started thinking for names for the blog I thought it was going to be to expose a group of people playing games with a house wife sleuther in Florida or maybe even a serial killer stalking her. But with the arrival of PS149, and the back n forths that came on LISK.com leading up to it being removed told me my blog would not be what I thought it would be. And these things kept happening through out writing this blog making it very unpredictable and very time-consuming. I did my best to read all blogs and comments related which became harder each day since they were being removed so often. Yes changes all around made it very difficult to keep up and keep things straight.  This also meant that important issues never even got brought up. And back in the beginning when people and posts started disappearing stated I went back and read as much old posts I could find on LISK.com. In these early readings there was familiar screen names like Flukeyou, Too Close Too Home, MDRice, Wanda, Cheryl, and a few others, and screen names I had heard mentioned in comments, like Truthspider , Jury Box, Barnaby Jones, Jim Jones (2 Jones) etc. And the more I read back the more things changed on my take of what was happening.

So although these 3 problems will I’m sure continue to make writing this blog difficult and time-consuming, I feel it is not finished and at least some answers might be there if we take another look and a few of you decide to start REALLY helping get to the truth.

From the beginning I felt something strange and diabolical might be going on in the posts and comment on LISK.com. And I had only been reading there for a couple months before it was removed.

Those reading and commenting for years knew it was much more than some online sleuthers arguing over what they think happened in a case they read about. People commenting here knew things. And behind the scenes people were sharing information and misinformation. Teams were being picked. That may a little too black n white but there was definitely a Flukeyou vs. CPH feel from quite early in the readings and people definitely were dividing into camps.

It is questionable if CPH has ever been involved in any comments or posts on LISK.com or any other related site or blog, but some believe he has been, or at least say they do.  As for Flukeyou, he posted quite a bit. and I think it’s safe to say everyone knows Flukeyou is Joe Scalice Jr. and it is also safe to say everyone knows the many different reasons for the Scalices to hold grudges against their neighbors and/or former neighbors.

This last paragraph speaks volumes if you are listening.

Buy again it may be to black n white. I don’t want to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but there seems to be more going on here then an old grudge. And more than just Jr. commenting on LISK.com.

So shall we take a look… a real good look at LISK.com before we get into its commenters.

Truthspider

So who is Truthspider? This was posted on LISK.com October 2011:

GQ Magazine UK Article About The Long Island Serial Killer Case

The article is informative yet it also contains this entertaining twist;

Remember the movie “Dinner For Schmucks” where the corporate execs bring these people who they know are idiots together for a dinner party where the idiots have no clue they are being made fun of? Well this GQ magazine article features real life “Idiots” who agreed to be interviewed for the article because they thought that GQ seriously was interested in their so called “Expertise”.

I don’t know which idiot I find to be the most pathetic. It’s either the two self-declared superheroes “Zero” and “Shade” in their full body uniforms or the poor weasel amateur detective from Long Island named Brendan Murphy who is driving around the beach in his bullet proof van spying on the residents with the van’s built in periscope!!!!

These idiots are really entertaining. Sick part is, not one of them realized that they were being made a mockery of when they agreed to the interviews and photo shoots?

Now here is the really sick part- I joined that website Websleuths.com to view the posts made by Brendan Murphy as he mentions in the GQ article. I have identified him as having the username “TRUTHSPIDER” on that website. Sick thing is, this guy is OBSESSED with Dr. Charles Peter Hackett. He is so obsessed with the doctor that his avatar photo on Websleuths is a picture of the doc. I also found numerous discussions where this guy Brendan “Truthspider” Murphy (if that is even his real name) has posted all sorts of fake information about Dr. Hackett. It’s almost as if he is trying to frame Dr. Hackett for Shannan Gilbert’s disappearance as well as all of the LISK murders.

Even crazier, in that GQ magazine article and on Websleuths, Brendan Truthspider Murphy admits that he has strong ties to law enforcement and a thorough knowledge of law enforcement because his dad is a former prosecutor for the district attorney’s office and has very much political pull because he now works for one of the largest law firms on Long Island. Likewise, Brendan Murphy admits that he has a thorough knowledge of Gilgo, Oak Beach and the entire Jones Island area from Jones beach to Robert Moses because his grandfather built over 80 homes there and Brendan was involved his whole childhood with constructing docks and bridges.

The article talks about the former drug enforcement agency van that he purchased. It’s bullet proof, sound proof, has a battery well and a dry ice pellet air conditioning system as well as a periscope. Sounds to me like it’s the perfect crime scene on wheels. He can abduct someone and park that van anywhere to murder someone without anyone on the outside knowing what’s going on or having the ability to stop him. And since it looks like a law enforcement vehicle and since he portrays himself as an “amateur detective” who is hot on this case, he can easily pretend he is law enforcement without anyone thinking otherwise.

At the very least, someone had better alert the authorities or Dr. Hackett’s family to be on the lookout for this stalker and his 1989 Ford Econoline van. This person clearly has something wrong with him. just look at how he is holding his hands in that photo in the magazine. it’s as if the GQ magazine editors are sending a message to all of us that they keyed in on this character for a reason.

When I read this post the first thing I thought was, SOME ONE ELSE CALLED ZERO?

So let me just state now, I am not this Zero.

http://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/comment/articles/2011-11/18/gq-comment-long-island-serial-killer

And now that I just went and read this article in GQ (link above), I again want to say, I am not that Zero.

I also wonder who ” William Wallace” is. The article says he is (or was, the article is from November 2011) a poster on LISK.com, but unfortunately I have never seen any post or comments by this Screen Name, but it seems we do have our Truthspider, at least that’s what was portrayed on LISK.com, with the Screen Name  “Brendan”  posting there. But as we have seen and will see, any one can be anyone on LISK.com.

For now let’s assume that  the SN Brendan on LISK.com is also Truthspider and he is the guy interviewed in this GQ article, or if not Brendan then maybe John as was recently posted on MM7’s blog.

Margaret      Sherick says:

February 20, 2013 at 8:57 pm  and by the way all you dumb asses wasting your time writing useless shit on this blog, Truthspider is not Brendan Murphy. TRUTHSPIDER IS JOHN MURPHY. His dad is DANIEL J BYRNES, a NYS SUPREME COURT LAW CLERK for a judge in the Riverhead Supreme court. His brother, MICHAEL MURPHY was a LIFE GUARD for many years before he joined the Navy. JOSEPH SCALISE (FLUKEYOU) is the DIRECTOR OF LIFEGUARDS for long Island. That is how FLUKEYOU and TRUTHSPIDER have a connection.

HOW THE FUCK DID NOT ONE OF YOU KNOW THIS????

DUMB ASSES.

Now go back to whatever useless shit it is that you old farts do and also stop writing about AMANDA!!!

So maybe Flukeyou and Truthspider aren’t the same, but two guys who joined together to help solve this, one a sleuther/private detective with a SUPER SCOOBY VAN and a resident from the community who knew a lot about other’s who lived in it. This would make Flukeyou the very person that many have been hinting at for a long time… Joey Scalise.
